We are using Serway & Jewitt "Physics for Scientist and Engineers" 8th ed. vol. 1 for this class. Vol.2 will be used for Physics 114.
It is also accetable to use the older, 6th or 7th edition of this book.
Note: If your calculus is a little rusty, brush up on derivatives for Chapter 2 and integration for Chapter 7. Appendix B contains a calculus review.
