Previous students:
- Aaron Clauset -- sophomore Physics Major at Haverford College
spent
the summer of 1998 working on developing computer code for materials studies.
In particular, he quickly learned Fortran 90 and wrote an efficient
matrix eigenvalue solver, working with Dr. Alan Tackett and graduate student
Kevin Conley.
- Jeremy Rudock -- junior Wake Forest Physics Major spent the
summer of 1998 and continuing in the fall of 1998 working on a systematic
study of the accuracy of the frozencore approximation for various atoms
throughout the periodic table.
- Eulena Small -- sophomore Wake Forest Biology Major spent the
summer of 1998 and continuing in the fall of 1998 working on a survey of the
atoms throughout the periodic table.
