New CD - Here Is What I Know Now
MIXED AND MASTERED!!

Get excited people - the recording for Chi Rho’s eighth album, Here Is What I Know Now, has recently been completed in Nashville, TN. The set list includes some of the favorites that we’ve been performing over the last year and a half (Indescribable, Chariot, Word of God Speak, 40), as well as several new songs arranged by Chi Rho brothers that have never been performed live (Orange Sky, Please Forgive Me, I Want Jesus to Walk With Me). Recording began Thursday, January 4, and wrapped up Sunday, January 14. Editing continued into February, when Derek West (editor), and Taylor Forry (director) ventured out to Raleigh, NC for the first mixing session. Mixing finished up recently on March 1, and the CD was mastered on March 6. We will be officially releasing the CD April 21 at our Big Concert. Tour 2007 - Taize, France

This summer, Chi Rho will embark on an historic journey to Taize, France. Not only is this the first international tour Chi Rho has ever been on, but it is also significantly longer than most of our tours, taking us across the Atlantic from May 25 to June 4. Taize is the home of an international, ecumenical community started in 1940 by Brother Roger. There are currently over 100 brothers there both from Catholic and various Protestant backgrounds. During the summers, thousands of adults converge on Taize for weeklong periods of prayer and reflection, during which they enter full time into the communal lifestyle. Worship services incorporating multiple languages with tens of thousands attending are part of the communal routine. As we make this journey, we hope to make a simple
contribution of love and joy through our music so that perhaps others who are searching may find what we have found in Christ our Savior.

As of last fall, Chi Rho accepts online donations through Wake Forest. This is a wonderful tool for our ministry, and we hope that as you enjoy our music you will prayerfully consider this option of support. Welcome New Members!

Chi Rho welcomes its newest members, sophomore Christian Harry and freshman Ryan Niland. Christian and Ryan auditioned at the end of August and were brought into the group the first week of September. Their first Chi Rho event was the Chi Rho Retreat at Lake Lure, where they were initiated both into our fellowship and to our intense rehearsal schedule!
