Becoming a graduate

Wake Forest sent the Class of 2026 into its next chapter with a unified challenge: To cultivate the same sense of belonging they felt here as they become leaders in the world.

Pro Humanitate (for humanity) invites us to use our ideas, knowledge, talents and compassion on behalf of all humanity.

Meet Elodie Wardle (’26) 🎓

A chemistry and Spanish double major with a minor in biology, Elodie found belonging through research, Outdoor Pursuits and Wake Forest EMS.

After discovering a passion for computational protein design, she explored research, travel and hands-on learning across a wide range of experiences.

Next, Elodie will work as a computational biologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute before applying to medical school.
