Preparing and Using the Automated Sample Changer (The 6-Pack)

1. Most Important Step: Remove the existing sample in the magnet, type ej.  Turn the lift air off by typing  ij.
2. Turn on the 6-Pack air controller (on top of console) and cut the air dryer off.
3. Remove any samples in the 6-Pack Holder.
4. Remove the prism and place on top of 6-Pack air controller (on top of console).
5. Slide the 6-Pack Holder back and load sample (make sure depth is set for each sample) with #1 at the front and #6 at the back towards the wall.
6. Make sure XWIN and  ICON are running.
7. Click on the Automation icon.
8. Double click on the sample number you want run and fill in the proper information.
9. You can change sweep widths and number of scans under the menu option Parameters.
10.  Click the Add button (bottom right) to perform an addition experiment on the a sample.
11 When finished highlight ALL experiments and click Submit (lower left)
12. Click on GO (upper left).
13.  Just click Ok if you followed these direction and NO sample is the machine.
14.  When finished remove all samples from the holder.
15. Replace prism with small flat side pointing to the front.
16. Pull holder up against prism.
17. In XWIN type ej.
28. Insert the standard sample and turn OFF the 6-Pack air controller (on top of console).
19. Type ij to insert the standard and turn the air dryer back on.
20. Close your XWIN NMR session and maximize the existing XWIN session.
21.  Your data can be found using File->Search->advanced->"given filename"->"experiment #"
