Recent books (above): Gramática para la composición (2a edición), with Luis González: the book for advanced Spanish composition that organizes grammar around six level-appropriate types of writing; with instructor's manual and website of self-correcting exercises. Spanish/English Contrasts (2nd ed.): a survey of Spanish linguistics focusing on differences between Spanish and English pronunciation, grammar, usage, and discourse; revised and updated. Pronouncing English: A Stress-Based Approach, with Richard Teschner: a different kind of textbook on English phonology that emphasizes the role of stress from the start. All three from Georgetown University Press. Also (on CD-ROM, from SIL International): The Phonicon: A Multimedia Digital Encyclopedia of the Sounds of the World's Languages (with Bakhit Kourman).

Coming in 2010 (with Pat Lunn): Teaching Spanish Grammar with Pictures: How to Use william Bull's Visual Grammar of Spanish (including CD-ROM of digital VGS), Georgetown University Press.
