Chm 122L
Organic Chemistry I Lab
Spring '07

Labs will begin on the first day of class, Wed. Jan. 17th. If you are wait-listed or trying to switch lab sections, it won't matter too much which day of the week you do the first experiment. We will be doing a Spartan experiment. There will be PLENTY of openings in the Friday section during the first week. A couple of days before classes begin, contact the lab instructor of the day you wish to add to see if you can come to that section the first week or if you will need to attend the Friday lab for at least the first week.

The NIST Chemistry WebBook can be a useful source of information for physical constants, spectra, and lots of other valuable information. The site can be especially useful for the organic and physical chemistry students!
Sigma-Aldrich chemical supplier has lots of information about chemicals they sell. You should be able to find molecular weight, density, melting and boiling points, etc.
