Caring

Teachers enjoy spending time in the company of children and young adults, learn about each of their students, maintain the dignity of each student, and express pride in their students’ accomplishments.

Caring is a huge part of my classroom. I have always had a love for children that has only grown throughout my time in the Wake Forest Education Program. I believe that a child cannot feel comfortable in a classroom unless they know they are cared for and taken care of. I feel that it is my job to make sure students are at ease in my classroom so that they can feel free to ask questions and express their concerns. I have learned through my experiences in classrooms that a teacher must be enthusiastic and ecouraging to help motivate students, and that is what I will strive to do each and every day.
