Jolie Tingen, Instructional Technology Analyst

Jolie TingenJolie Tingen (BM, North Carolina School of the Arts, MA/instructional technology, Appalachian State University) is the instructional technology analyst for the departments of Music and Theatre and Dance at Wake Forest University. Her primary responsibility is to support faculty with technology in the classroom. She manages and supports the departments' current technologies while continuing to research and evaluate new technologies which may enhance learning or the classroom environment.

 

Primary tasks:

1. Provide technical support and training to departmental faculty and staff.

2. Research and evaluate new departmental specific technologies and consult with faculty on the implementation of those technologies.

3. Manage departmental assets and administer department specific computing resources such as labs, workstations, and websites.

4. Propose and manage deparment computing budget and manage approved projects implementing technology to completion.
