I am interested in community ecology and evolution, especially patterns of commonness and rarity and the evolutionary processes leading to species distributions.

My MS work focused on patterns of tree community composition in the tropical forest of Southeast Peru.

I am currently working on my PhD project which will test the effects of gradients on the evolution of species ranges.
