The Front Nine

For pictures and a more complete description, click on the hole number.

Hole #1: 153 ft. A good warm-up. Open, straightaway hole framed by Sauratown Mountain.

Hole #2: 243 ft. A slight downhill throw. The basket sits between a pair of hickory trees.

Hole #3: 272 ft. Another downhill hole. The basket is behind a row of cedar trees.

Hole #4: 261 ft. Throws across a gulley; fairway edged by trees which hide your view of the basket.

Hole #5: 244 ft. The trees all have plastic magnets in them. A turnover throw offers the best line.

Hole #6: 194 ft. A narrow gap in the trees is the direct route. A high hyzer can be foiled by the oaks.

Hole #7: 144 ft. Summer foliage brings tree branches directly into your flight path.

Hole #8: 130 ft. The basket is hidden directly behind a large oak. The hyzer path has some trees.

Hole #9: 205 ft. A slight turnover gets to the basket, but threading a hyzer between trees is the ace run.
