There are over 700 disc golf courses in the world; more than 500 of them are in the U.S. To find the disc golf course closest to you, check out the Professional Disc Golf Association's on-line course directory.
I'm fortunate to live within five miles of a disc golf course. Horizons Park Disc Golf course is the oldest permanent polehole course in North Carolina.
East Carolina University in Greenville, NC has both an on-campus disc golf course and a good web page for North Carolina disc golf.
