Much of the city of Princeville was under water for ten days
due to the
floods from hurricane Floyd. During this time the residents of Princeville
were move to shelters. Every day, the media covered this story showing the
efforts that were being made to help these people and their city.
After the flood waters receded and many shelters closed down, many people
have forgotten about this city and the 10,000 people throughout eastern
North Carolina who have been displaced due to the floods.
On this web site, I want to show a little about the current
state
of some of these places and what others are doing to help these people.
