Biology is an amazing subject! It covers everything from what living things are built of to how all living things are connected to each other. I firmly believe that all students can learn Biology.
My name is Leslie Parker. I am a North Carolina Teaching Fellow Alumnus from Appalachian State University. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2004 with a B.A. in Biology Secondary Education. After graduation, my next four years were spent teaching science at Kings Mountain High School. I taught Earth Science, Honors Earth Science, Biology, and AP Biology. I am currently a graduate student at Wake Forest University pursuing my Masters of Education.
This website was created as part of my educational technology class to show my educational philosophy, pedagogy, and technological knowledge. My hope is this website will serve as a resource for my students, my student’s parents, fellow educators and myself as we strive for excellence in Biology.
