Personal

I was born in Troy, North Carolina, where I lived for the first 15 years of my life, before moving to Durham, NC to attend the N.C. School of Science and Mathematics. After graduating from NCSSM in 2006, I enrolled at Wake Forest University, where I earned a B.S. in Mathematics, and was actively involved as an RA and as a Student Coordinator with Intramural Sports. I graduated in the spring of 2010.

In my life outside of math, I serve as a Graduate Hall Director for Taylor and Efird Halls for the Wake Forest University Residence Life and Housing Office.

I also am a registered basketball official with the North Carolina High School Athletics Association, and work with the Northwest Basketball Officials Association (since fall 2007) and the Triad Basketball Officials Association (since fall 2009). I have worked the AAU Girls Regional, State, and National Tournaments, as well as games in the ACIS National Basketball Tournament.
