Controlling PowerPoint presentations with a remote mouse is easier if PowerPoint is configured to move to the previous slide on a right-click of the mouse. For those using the RemotePoint RF mouse, the left arrow is programmed to the right mouse button by default. But PowerPoint by default is configured to pull up a menu of options with the right mouse button. To get the mouse to work the way we would like, we need to change this behavior.
