Miss Lohwasser's Elementary Education Website

author

Welcome to my website! My name is Jenna Lohwasser and I am currently a senior at Wake Forest University where I am majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Spanish. I am originally from Mahwah, New Jersey, but am planning on teaching in North Carolina after I graduate. Through the Teacher Education Program at Wake, I have had many wonderful experiences in the elementary classrooms of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School District. I have observed in both a second and fourth grade classroom and have loved every minute of it. This fall, I am very excited to be student teaching in a fourth grade classroom in Meadowlark Elementary School.

I have designed this website for my future students, fellow teachers, and future administrators to learn more about myself and my teaching philosophy. You will also find many helpful resources, lesson plans, projects, my global reflection, and other materials appropriate for an elementary classroom. I hope that you can find my website useful and can see how important I think that a technologically literate classroom is in today's society. At the bottom of this page, you will find links to the seven Guiding Principles that Wake Forest guides its students to value and uphold, and also a resource page with other websites and important resources that would be helpful in any classroom. Through this website, I hope you can see how much I value technology, my growth as a teacher, and how much I look forward to having a classroom of my own in the near future. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.
