Directions To Install Spartan (Each student must install before first lab period. Bring your Thinkpad and powersupply to your first lab meeting.)

During the first lab meeting of each section safety material will be distributed and the class will view a safety film. After reviewing that material and prior to attending the second meeting of your lab section, you must pass a safety quiz. The quiz is worth 22 points and a passing score is a 20/22. Follow the link for your sections quiz. The scoring mechanism will tell you your score after you submit your answers. If you don't pass on your first attempt, you may take it multiple times to improve your score. Students who fail to have a recorded score of 20/22 or better before noon on their lab day (1/28-2/3) will not be allowed to enter the lab rooms the second week of lab and thus will receive a grade of zero for that week.
