Professor Frederick Rosen

Frederick Rosen is Emeritus Professor of the History of Political Thought, University College London; former Director of The Bentham Project, University College London; former Director of Centre for Politics, Law and Society, University College London; founding editor of Utilitas and Fellow, Royal Historical Society. He is also General Editor (with P. Schofield), The Collected Works of Jeremy Bentham and author of Classical Utilitarianism from Hume to Mill (London: Routledge, 2003); Bentham, Byron and Greece: Constitutionalism, Nationalism, and Early Liberal Political Thought (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1992) and Jeremy Bentham and Representative Democracy: A Study of the Constitutional Code (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1983).
