Hello! My name is Drew Haverly and I am currently in my junior year at Wake Forest University. I am originally from Connecticut, but have made my way down South to Wake Forest to study Elementary Education and develop my personal teaching philosophy, strategies and educational beliefs that I will soon be able to integrate into my own classroom. In order to develop these ideas and strategies, I have observed second grade and fifth grade classrooms and will be student teaching this coming fall in a 3rd grade classroom all in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System. I truly have such a passion for teaching and am really excited to continually learn from the children as well as see the growth of my students over the course of each school year throughout my career. I believe everyone is capable of achieving great success in their lives and I will take great pride in making sure that each one of my students maximizes their potential.
