REFLECTION
Teachers analyze their teaching, collaborate with colleagues, use research in their classrooms, and continue to grow professionally.
-Wake Forest University's Conceptual Framework
Reflection is one of the best ways to improve student learning. By collecting and analyzing students work I can improve my effectiveness as a teacher to better individual needs of my students. Through assessing my students progress, I can reflect on myself as a teacher and make the necessary changes. I strongly believe that my students' work is usually a direct reflection of me as a teacher. I am aware of the large amount of change that is happening everyday and that I need to constantly be considering new and creative ways to improve my teaching, in order to better student learning. I feel I am an adaptable person and this will benefit me in the classroom when I need to adapt to new findings that will better meet my students needs.
