Welcome to the Demo version of the Color Pen!  This applet was developed with Swing and allows users to modify documents on-line.  The demo version of  the Color Pen will not save your changes to the sample document.  You can only change text attributes.
Start the Color Pen

How do I use it?
You must have the Java Plugin installedThe Java Plugin is a browser helper application that allows this applet to be loaded to the browser without loading all of the swing classes. That is what I use it for with this application.  It has other bennefits and features you can read about from the Sun Java Plugin web site.

**PLEASE NOTE**This version needs JDK1.x.

Once the applet has loaded it will display a default document.  The default document explains DSA+ and QoS reasearch Dr. Errin Fulp is doing at Wake Forest University.  He gave me permission to use this document for the demo applet.  You can change text and text attributes in the document just as if you were using a word processor.

What document formats are supported?
This document is a Rich Text Format styled document.  Document styles include HTML, RTF, and TXT.  The applet can load and display these types of documents.

Where can the document be saved?
Document contents can be saved to a file or a database.
