Hint on problem 7-2. Write out the given for n = 1, 2, and 3, and use these to deduce the pattern of proof needed for the general case.
Hint on problem 7-4. Use given to determine bounds on a(N+k), k = 0,1,2,..., and write a(N+k) = a(N+k)*(a(N+k-1)/a(N+k-1)*a(N+k-2)/(a(N+k-2)*...*(a(N)/a(N). Then find upper and lower bounds, take the (N+k)th root of both sides and use the Squeeze Theorem to complete the proof.
