What are the advantages of being a member?
Most of all, you have the "advantage" of supporting our activities. Members also get a 40% discount on books from Prometheus Books, and receive our quarterly newsletter. You will also be given opportunities to participate in activities of the club (investigations, media contacts), and you have the right to vote and help us choose speakers. Both members and mailing list members will receive free updates (by snail mail or email) of upcoming events.

What are my membership dues used for?
Your dues cover expenses of the club, such as mailings, costs associated with bringing speakers here, and refreshments at meetings.

How can I get on the Club's mailing list?

There are three ways to get on our email list. The easiest way is to send an email to tasc-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You can also join by registering at Yahoogroups by clicking on the symbol at right. If neither of these work, email Eric Carlson at ecarlson@wfu.edu and he will add you to the mailing list for the group. You will be notified of all upcoming events and planning meetings. If you do not have an email address, you can be added to our conventional mail list by contacting Eric Carlson.

What if I want to get more involved with Carolina Skeptics?
You are welcome and encouraged to attend our monthly meetings, where we socialize and plan future activities. If you want to make suggestions without attending the meeting, you can email them to Eric Carlson at ecarlson@wfu.edu or call him at (336) 758-4994. If you have any special abilities, or would like to assist in investigations, or would like to serve as a speaker or recommend a speaker, contact Eric Carlson.
