Mr. Dunlap's Physics Exploratorium

Welcome.

Hi my name is Pete Dunlap and I am a Master Teacher Fellow in Wake Forest University’s Education Department.  It is a pleasure to introduce myself and my web site.  The web site is designed for use by professors, administrators, and teachers in an effort to chart my development as a professional physics teacher.  I hope this helps you get a feel for my teaching philosophy and practice.  The navigation bar at the bottom of each page will help you stay oriented.  As a developing professional I will lean upon several standards that support excellence in teaching.  These standards include the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards, which will continue to provide guidance in my professional development once I am in the classroom teaching, the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers, which provides me with performance indicators to guide my students toward digital age work through the ethical use of digital media, and the 21st Century Skills Framework, which focuses on collaboration between disciplines and teaching technology skills that will prepare students for careers in the new global economy.  Please explore the tabs below and email me with any questions or comments at petedunlap@gmail.com, or by clicking the email link below.  Welcome and enjoy.
