"The most recent work on the record is the concerto for
two guitars and orchestra, Reflexiones Concertantes, Van is joined
by guitarist Patricia Abud Dixon, who comissioned the piece, and the Carolina
Chamber Symphony led by Robert Franz".
"Dixon and Van play here, as elsewhere, with unerring musicality, robust
tone, and good ensemble".
"The sound is exemplary: clean, well balanced, and transparent".
