X-ray Instrumentation

The Chemistry Department X-ray Facility is equipped with a Bruker APEX CCD diffractometer system (shown at right) with Mo Kalpha radiation and a Bruker KryoFlex low temperature device for single crystal analysis.
	Analysis of powder samples is routinely conducted on a Bruker (Siemens) P4 diffractometer that has been modified with the 2 dimensional Hi-Star MWPC detector (shown at left), CuKalpha radiation and Bruker GADDS software.
