The multitude of courses in methods, technology, and field experience have taught me the importance of a strong pedagogy. I have learned various teaching methods that I will employ in my classroom including Universal Design and Inquiry-based teaching. I am familiar with the latest and most effective technology for the elementary classroom and have had experience integrating it into lessons and assessments. As a role model for my students, I believe in demonstrating leadership, cooperation and lifelong learning to help provide my students with these skills as well as higher level thinking skills to prepare them for future endeavors.
