Courtship in Euchaetes bolteri happens shortly after
dawn. The female releases a sex pheromone blend that stimulates the male
to fly to her. Just before he reaches the female the male begins to produce
high frequency clicks (50kHz). The female is silent (Simmons and Conner,
1996).
