Empyreuma affinis is a moth that has recently
found its way from Cuba to south Florida. This moth mates just before dawn.
The female attracts the male using a conventional sex attractant. Just
downwind of the female the male begins to click (34kHz). The female answers
the male with clicks that differ in their rate and duration (Sanderford,
Coro, and Conner, 1998)
