Miss Allushuski's Educational Website

"The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be ignited." - Plutarch
Greetings and welcome to my website! My name is Mia Allushuski and I am a senior at Wake Forest University pursuing an Elementary Education major with a Spanish minor. I am currently student teaching in a 4th grade classroom in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School District, and have really enjoyed completing fieldwork in both 1st and 4th grade classrooms across the disctrict.
I have created this website as a resource for potential employers, colleagues, parents, and students. Here you will be able to access selections of my work which will help to showcase my growth and development as a professional teacher candidate. You will also find many helpful resources, lesson plans, and other materials appropriate for elementary school classrooms. Finally, I have included several pages describing the guiding principles of the Wake Forest University Department of Education's Conceptual Framework. It is my hope that these principles will become integral facets of my future classroom community as I prepare students to be competitive in the 21st century. Thank you for visiting my site and please feel free to contact me at any time!
