For fellow Education Graduate Students, fellow educators, parents, students, and community members: this is a website dedicated to display my work in the field of Foreign Language Education and to utilize my knowledge and skill in technological tools, a rapidly growing field within the 21st century. My name is Amy Allen and I am a graduate student in the Master Teacher Fellows Program at Wake Forest University. At the end of this 14-month program, I will be licensed to teach Spanish from Kindergarten to High School. Within this website you will find a sample of my work in obtaining this licensure, including lesson plans, case studies, my educational philosophy, advocacy for Foreign Language education, and other self-chosen pieces that best display my devotion to the teaching of Spanish. I have also included a number of resources that will be helpful to foreign language teachers, foreign language students, and parents as they all work together for foreign language learning. I have also used this website to display my love for travel, especially in the Spanish-speaking world, an opportunity that has inspired my love for the Spanish language and my desire to teach it to others.
