Don Over my life span of more than six decades I have had many close friendships. But our friendship over the last twelve years has truly been exceptional. I have immensely enjoyed our close friendship at Calloway; Helen and I have considered you and Sara as our dear friends. I know you and Sara will have a wonderful retirement fishing, boating, golfing etc., but we will miss you both very much. umit

Don,
You are the best! I have been humbled and moved by you and Sara so many times over the last 3 and a half years. You just give and give to the people around you. You infuse life into things as simple as eating lunch. Both of you have meant so much to me as I've witnessed you reaching out to and loving our Khedria.
Punta Gorda, watch out! You'll never be the same!!!
I'll certainly miss you banging on my door, giving me a heart attack, and hollaring "Wake up in there!"
You will be missed!

Dear Don,
It has been all too short a journey together over the last twelve years. I have always truly appreciated your insight and your humor, and as the Calloway School has developed over the years we have all benefited from your experience. I will especially miss you and your mustard jar at lunches in the lounge!

Don, It has been a pleasure to work along beside you. We will certainly miss having you here. Thank you for all you have contributed to the Calloway School and Wake Forest. I wish you and Sara the best, and I hope you enjoy a lot of golf and boating in the Florida sunshine. Best, Julie

Don,
Like Pat, I only had the chance to work with you for a short time, but I appreciate your friendship and good advice to me. I am humbled by the great work you have done at Wake Forest and excited by the wonderful things that are yet to come as the School builds on the strong foundation in business ethics that you have built. Thanks for your dedicated service.

Don, I count it a privilege to have been able to work with you--even if for only a short time. I particularly appreciated the total commitment you have shown to the Calloway students and your wisdom as the new BEM major has been developed. Occasionally, when the catch is particularly good, ice down a few fish and ship them to us. Pat
