Ed: You were the sponsor of the Sig Eps in the 1968-1972 window when I was a member. Thank you very much for helping an organization that was profoundly influential on me. I took many a history course in your department and very fondly recall the many pleasant and informative sessions offered by you and your colleagues...Barnett, Smiley and so on.
