I will always remember how impressed I was with a speech Dr. Hearn made in October of 2003 at Parents' Weekend when my son, Kevin Crowley, was a freshman. I could tell he genuinely loved the students at Wake and felt a true responsibility in helping them realize their dreams and goals. What a remarkable man. God grant you eternal peace and happiness, Dr. Hearn!

Adriana e Franco Cappelluti

I am grateful for the wonderful education I received at Wake Forest University during Dr. Hearn's presidency. I remember speaking with President Hearn when he was walking through Reynolda Hall, usually near the Pit (dining hall). You could tell he loved his work. He'd always ask how things were going with studies. May the family find comfort in this time.
