Well Done Helen! Since the first time I met you, over a decade ago in the Career Services Office, I have been inspired by you ~ from the energy and enthusiasm you brought to your work to the caring and compassion you shared with both your students and your colleagues. Wake Forest was lucky to have you. All the best to you in this next chapter of your life and remember to sign me up for the Turkish Tasting Tour ;)

Helen, Congratulations! I will truly miss you. You have been such an ardent supporter of what we do in the Chaplain's Office and Campus Ministry. Enjoy the blessing of free time doing whatever you want to do, when you want to do it. Don't forget us. God bless you!

Helen, It has been my privilege to work with you over the past 10 years since I came to WFU. Your leadership in the Summer Management Program made it a joy to be a part of each year. I will miss you and wish you the very best. You deserve it! Julie

Dr. Akinc, Congratulations on your retirement! I just read it in the WF Magazine. I hope you are able to enjoy life and have some fun!
I just started a new job in July in marketing for Forsyth Medical Center here in Winston-Salem. I am really enjoying the not-for-profit arena versus the corporate world. I enjoyed working with your sister at Crisis Control Ministries. I only worked there for a few months before I had my second child and before I got this new job. Please tell her I say hello.
Good luck and maybe I will see you around Winston-Salem.
