America’s White Working-Class Women: A Historical Bibliography
Ref Z7963 E7 K45
This is a bibliography of works written about white, working-class women in the United States. It is divided by time period beginning with pre-industrial America moving to the Industrial era and then into Modern America. It is only a bibliography so there is no text or information (although a very detailed introduction that provides a lot of background) so it is only an intermediary between you and the articles—which can seem a little frustrating when we are used to internet and databases with the articles right there.

Encyclopedia of Women Social Reformers
Ref HQ1236 R29 2001
This is a two volume set of all of the women social reformers throughout history. It alphabetically provides entries for all kinds of women involved in all kinds of issues. It is important to know who you are searching for since it is not divided by topic, only by name. It includes women from all around the world which is really interesting.

Statistical Handbook on the American Family
Ref HQ536 S727 1999
This is a book filled with statistics, charts, tables, etc about the American family from the end of the 20th century into the 21st century. It is divided into topics (i.e. marriage, divorce, children, and sexual attitudes) and then there are various tables and charts to accompany each topic. The charts are large and easy to read.
