American Women Writers on Vietnam: Unheard Voices: A Selected Annotated Bibliography
Ref Z1227 B88 1990
This is a bibliography of all writings on the involvement of women in the Vietnam War. The entries are diverse including fiction, poetry, drama, literary criticism as well as personal experiences, oral histories and factual writing on the history, politics and military issues of the war with specificity to issues involving or concerning women. Each entry is also annotated with a description of the work.

Vietnam War: Handbook of the Literature and Research
Ref DS558 V58 1993
This is a complete overview of the Vietnam War including history of all the countries participating, strategy, war conduct, and the aftermath. It is a collection of essays detailing a variety of topics related to these issues. This book is not specifically about women’s involvement in the war so many of the articles are not related to women’s issues, however, there is one essay specifically addressing the role of women in the war.

War and Peace Through Women’s Eyes: A Selective Bibliography of Twentieth-Century American Women’s Fiction
Ref PS374 W6 C37 1992
This is a book of bibliographic listing of women’s literary interpretations concerning war and peace in fictional works. Thus either war and/or peace is the dominant theme in each novel/ short story. The book is divided into chapters of each American war in the last century and also a more general chapter on “war and peace” which include writings on foreign wars and American Indian war stories. There is also an introduction to each chapter that overviews the literature and annotations for each entry which touch on the predominant themes and lists of other complementary resources.

Women and the Military: An Encyclopedia
Ref U21.75 S54 1996
This is an encyclopedia covering the involvement of women in the military internationally. The entries are diverse in scope but fairly brief. They do offer resource listings for further research, however. This would be good starting point in research and offers a diverse set of information so is interesting to flip through and see the realm of entries provided.
