Become a Friend of Women's and Gender Studies
Your contribution to WGS will help us strengthen the important work in which Women’s and Gender Studies is involved. For instance, you can help us establish scholarships for young women, especially in non-traditional fields such as science or mathematics; or you may support community service education projects on issues such as women’s health, women’s roles in the family, or women’s and gender issues in the workplace. We also need assistance sponsoring educational outreach programs, subsidizing public lectures and academic conferences, and supporting the costs of scholarly research. Such gifts, in short, enable the program to offer scholarships for students, men and women alike, to provide rewards and recognition to outstanding teachers and researchers, to sponsor public and academic programs, and finally support community work.
We would be very grateful for any contributions you might make, so that the program can build on its considerable teaching and research strengths and maintain its academic excellence and community programming.
For your tax-deductible donation, you will receive, in addition to the WGS newsletter, invitations to participate in various events sponsored by the program (special lectures, workshops, forums, poetry readings, film screening, musical events, etc.).
