4. Security Procedures in Place to Protect Information
We endeavor to protect the security of the personal information you provide

such information after you log on and while you browse any profile or shopping
cart pages. The security features are automatic. To be sure your connection
is secure, you can look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window
and, depending on your browser, look for an unbroken key or closed padlock
icon to indicate that the SSL is active and your information is secure.
Additionally, WFU Press employs industry standard firewall and anti-virus
protection along with maintaining vendor security patches and host-based intrusion
detection systems.
Although WFU Press has implemented measures designed to secure personal information
collected on our Web site from accidental loss and from unauthorized access,
use, alteration or disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of information
provided over the Internet and WFU Press and Wake Forest University will not
