Kevin P. Cox Kevin P. Cox is assistant vice president for university advancement and director of media relations. He received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and English from Texas A&M University at Commerce in 1976 and a master of arts degree in English from Wake Forest in 1981. The News Service’s manager, Cox joined the office in 1990.

Cheryl V. Walker Cheryl V. Walker is associate director of media relations. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Wake Forest in 1988 and joined the News Service in 1989. She is responsible for developing news coverage for the psychology, sociology, anthropology, biology and education departments. She is also the primary contact for art, theatre and music stories, and stories relating to international studies and multicultural affairs.

Audrey Fannin Audrey Fannin is a media relations officer who covers the areas of religion, political science, computer science, math, women's studies, and health and exercise science. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in communications from Ohio University in 1985, and worked as a producer, writer and on-air host with South Carolina's public radio and television networks for over 16 years. She ran a media production company for several years before returning to public broadcasting as news host and assignment editor with WFDD in Winston-Salem. Audrey joined the News Service in 2007.

Eric F. Frazier Eric F. Frazier is a media relations officer who joined the News Service in 2007. He earned a bachelor of science degree in geography and planning from Appalachian State University in 1981. After working in sales and marketing, real estate and owning a bookstore, he became a reporter and editor for The Dispatch in Lexington, N.C. He is responsible for developing news coverage for the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy, undergraduate entrepreneurship programs, economics, physics, the nanotechnology center, chemistry, English, languages and history. He is also the primary contact person for stories about Career Services, Facilities Management, and the Z. Smith Reynolds Library.

Pam Barrett Pam Barrett is a media relations specialist who joined the News Service in 2003. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Radford University in 1988. She worked in corporate communications until 1998, when she started her own freelance writing and communications consulting company. Barrett is primarily responsible for writing news releases about various campus events. She works a reduced schedule, and is in the office mostly in the morning and early afternoon.

Priscilla Wood Priscilla Wood is the News Service’s administrative assistant. She is responsible for a wide range of daily activities in the office, including distribution of news releases and handling media inquiries.
