Two promoted in Wake Forest's institutional research office

Two staff members in Wake Forest University's Office of Institutional Research were promoted to new positions July 1.
Adam W. Shick was named associate director of institutional research. Shick, who previously served as assistant director, earned a bachelor's degree in marine engineering systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a master's degree in mathematics from Wake Forest. He first worked in the Office of Institutional Research as a graduate student assistant and joined the staff full-time in 2001.
Sara R. Gravitt was named assistant director of institutional research.
Gravitt received a bachelor's degree in business administration from High Point University and worked for US Airways before joining Wake Forest in 1996. She most recently served as research assistant.
