This summer, children can travel off the beaten path and explore "The Many Faces of China" at Wake Forest University's Museum of Anthropology summer camp.
Camps meet the weeks of June 12, 19 and 26. Campers will learn about the history and culture of Chinese minority groups, including the Mongolian, Tibetan and Miao peoples, and how they differ from the majority Han Chinese.
Camps take place weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon, and are for students who have completed grades 1-5. Camp fees, $85 (community) and $70 (museum members), include supplies and daily snacks. On the Friday of each camp week, campers will present what they have learned during the week in a program for parents.
