Family Day rescheduled for Nov. 13 at WFU's Museum of Anthropology

Wake Forest University's Museum of Anthropology will host a Family Day called "Milagros: Symbols of Hope" from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 13. The event, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 13, is free and open to the public.
As part of the programming for the bilingual exhibit "Tokens of Thanks: Ex-votos from Brazil and Mexico," the Family Day focuses on "milagros" or "miracles," which are small metal images worn by a person who petitions for relief from some personal problem.
The event includes a video explaining ex-votos and milagros through the story of a young boy, a guided tour of the exhibit, and an activity time in which families can make their own milagros to take home.
