Museum of Anthropology appoints advisory board

Wake Forest University's Museum of Anthropology has established a 15-member advisory board. The first meeting was held July 7.
The following community members will serve on the board:
Founded in 1963, the Museum of Anthropology presents exhibits and offers educational programs for schoolchildren and the general public throughout the year. The museum's permanent collection consists of objects from the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia, including household and ceremonial items, hunting and fishing gear, and textiles. Materials collected by Moravian missionaries can be found at the museum, as well as prehistoric artifacts from North Carolina's Yadkin River Valley.
