Student showcase recital at WFU

Highlighting the talents of its best student musicians, Wake Forest University’s department of music will host its annual student showcase recital Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. in Scales Fine Arts Center’s Brendle Recital Hall.

Two soloists, a duo, a string quartet and the Quintessential Winds, a wind quintet, will perform selected works from French composer Francis Poulene and music by César Franck, Dominick Argento, Samuel Barber and August Klughardt.

The students were all chosen by the music faculty to participate based on their performances during the past year.
