Publishers Weekly names Kimballs book in top 15 of 2002

Publishers Weekly, an international news source of book publishing and book selling, recently named Charles Kimballs When Religion Becomes Evil as one of the top 15 religion books of 2002. Kimball is professor and chair of religion at Wake Forest University.

When Religion Becomes Evil, published on the one year anniversary of Sept. 11, outlines the five warning signs of religious corruption. Kimball has received national attention for the book, including appearances on cable news shows, several live radio talk shows and numerous interviews for national daily newspapers.
An expert on Islam and the intersection of religion and politics, Kimball is also the author of Striving Together: A Way Forward in Christian-Muslin Relations and Religion, Politics and Oil: The Volatile Mix in the Middle East and Angle of Vision: Christians and the Middle East.
