Why Work? Business, Professions and the Common Good

March 27-28, 2008

A two-day conference exploring the challenges of modern business and professional life and the relationship between personal values and commitments and the world of work. The conference focused on how to help students and young professionals address these challenges and how universities, workplaces and individuals can help rekindle the deep sense of responsibility to the common good that has been the traditional hallmark of professional identity.
