Mary Wayne-Thomas (B.F.A. Penn State, M.F.A. Ohio State) has been designing sets and costumes for Wake Forest since 1980. Mary has designed for Duke University, UNCG, and The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem. Her professional credits include the Santa Fe Opera, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Hartford Stage Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Barter Theatre.
