DIRECTOR’S NOTES This is life heightened, exaggerated and contrived, but recognizable. We know these characters; we respond to their problems, resonate with their joys, sympathize with their pains, and hope for their successes. I would that we could all come to this play unprepared. Knowing not what to expect, what is to happen, who we might meet, and so find our delight in meeting these fine (and not so fine) souls as they love, pursue, battle, and posture their way through a world Let time stop for a bit while you enjoy these characters and their Oh, and please turn off your phone! Thanks for double checking. We are deeply saddened by the recent loss of three friends of the University Theatre and wish to dedicate this production to their memory. Charles Henry Babcock, Jr. Dr. Bashir El Beshti Col. Carl L. Whitney
